This cake brought me back to my childhood! It truly is an authentic Dominican bakery and the cake was so delicious! We order an dulce de leche cake and it truly hit the spot. We love that fact that the frosting was not fondant as many places love to use now. This cake was rich and moist, it was baked and made to perfection! Thank you Angela’s bakery for bringing me back to my childhood in this beautiful cake you guys made with a lot of love!

We ordered a cake, which it was ok. There was a customer which was all done with 2 females behind the counter and I patiently waited till 1 of them was ready, seemed forever, maybe they were overwhelmed. It's a basic spot nothing with limited pastry displayed. I ordered a couple of the beef pastelillo which was the best I've ever tasted 5 stars. The meat and crust was seasoned to a perfection. I will be returning for those.

I have been purchasing cakes from Angela for a very long time-way back when she started in a basement in the Inwood area. Her cakes are truly delicious and moist and at a reasonable price compared to other bakeries. Instead of going directly to the bakery I called. I spoke with Oscar who’s the only one that speaks English. I emailed him a few pictures of Hisoka and he gave his recommendations as well. The Hisoka image is made out a confectioner paper. The cake was in total 70 dollars and it was a 1 pound cake which is HUGE and a lot. I was disappointed that if the cake is round the image should be round to blend in. The printed paper was visible and that was disappointing too. My daughter didn’t mind it at all. So I guess that was ok. I recommended to Oscar that if the cake is round that the image should be round as well. If I would’ve know, I would have requested a square cake. Overall, Angela’s cakes are delicious and extremely moist. She has many flavors that you can order from : guava, strawberry, dulce de leche and many others that I don’t remember right now . I highly recommend her and will keep getting cakes from her.
